Janet D'Angelo is a trusted voice in the health, beauty and wellness industry with over 20 years of experience developing communications, operation and management strategies.

As a marketing and public relations consultant for J. Angel Communications, Janet is dedicated to helping her clients reach their business goals. She is a featured speaker at national trade shows and business conferences and has enthusiastically supported the development of educational resources for small business owners throughout her career. In addition to Spa Business Strategies, Janet is a contributing author of The Business of Skin Care segment of Milady's Standard Fundamentals for Estheticians, the Business Communication Skills segment of Milady's Standard Comprehensive Training for Estheticians and Milady's Standard Esthetics: Advanced. She has also written numerous articles for newspaper, magazine and trade publications such as, Skin, Inc., Massage & Body Work, Earth Star, Cosmetic Surgery Times and Women's Business and is frequently quoted in the media.

Janet is a member of several professional organizations including the American Marketing Association [AMA] and the International Spa Association [ISPA] and works diligently to support market research and professional advancements.

Janet earned her Master's degree from Northeastern University and has held teaching and administrative positions in public education and corporate sales & marketing. Prior to launching her own marketing communications company she directed marketing and public relations for a private career school and cosmetic manufacturing company.
